I have soooo much to share with you and Halloween is sneaking up on us! A while back, my sweet friend, Amy did a tutorial on doll houses here, and I had to make one of my own. Given the small space I had to work with, I had to build upwards.
Not any house would do, oh no... I wanted to make a house in honor of my favorite holiday... HALLOWEEN! When I showed my husband and the girls the blog, their eyes lit up and the creative juices started to flow. We were all giddy and ready to build!
This project is still a work in progress. A few more pieces needs to be added to make it complete. I will definitely share with you all the progress that takes place! Also, within these next few weeks I will share with you some of the fun little crafts we made to make this humble little haunted house extra spooky!
Take a look!
By day, the home falls into a slumber.
Silent.
Still.
It waits for nightfall...
When night creeps, the house awakens...
Please, come inside... don't be scared...
As you peak inside, you hesitate... should you go in?
Oh please do come inside.
We love having guests over!
"Tic-toc" goes the grandfather clock... the heart of the home...
Are you thirsty? Would you care for a drink? Please have a seat.
You look back into the foyer... you think to yourself, "I can leave..."but curiosity lures you deeper into the home...
Hmmmm... looks like someone has been sleeping here...
but who?
A sound catches your attention. You turn around to see another room.
There in the darkest corner of the room you see something. What is it?! You strain to see.
As your eyes adjust to the darkness, is it a coffin? Your heart begins to pound. You strain some more.
It is a coffin!
It's empty.
your safe,
for now...
Curiouser and curiouser you become.
You've come this far, you can't leave just yet!
Just one more room...
It's the attic! And you're not alone!!!
Quickly! Run! Leave while you can!
Your heart is pounding in your throat as you bolt out the door. In the darkness you notice something that you didn't notice before...
A graveyard!
You run even faster... faster... farther and farther away from the house.
You look back and see only a silhouette of the house.
A sense of relief comes over you. You're safe...
for now...
THE COOLEST!!! I love it! Totally, totally rocks! I should have known that you would take it to a whole new level for Halloween...I can't wait to see what else you do!

That is great! My husband and I don't have children yet, but that is something that we would both LOVE to make even for ourselves! Thanks for sharing!!!
