I needed to de-stress. Sheesh... the holidays can be quite stressful. Hey all you moms out there with kids and work, and keeping the home in order, and cooking, and I can go on and on, right?! It's hard enough to do all of this and when you toss in the holidays... OH. MY. GOODNESS.
SO... I gave myself a little treat.
Saw it. Love it. Bought it.
Cut here. Sew there. Pin here.
Add a little bit of me here and there.
And...
Yippee!!! A happy find for me!
The pattern and instructions were so easy. It took a day to make this tunic ALONG with this pretty-pretty scarf! YAY!!! Not one, but two happy finds for me!!! And all in one day.
This is big for me, really! The last time I sewed a top for myself was exactly a year ago. So I'm going to wear this to death! Yup, wore it this morning taking the girls to school, plan to wear it tomorrow to a friend's holiday shin dig and if I have time to wash it... maybe wear it to church on Sunday!
Ooooh.... hmmm... hopefully no one will se me twice within these next few days... OH WELL!!!
Okay... "me" time is over. Back to work...
Have a wonderful weekend!

Beautiful! I may have to get this pattern... Looks like it may allow "easy access" for when Baby Bird is born in a few months. =)
